Unlike the "big-name" pole building builders (you know, those guys who take out the big ads in the papers), we start with 70-pound snow-loads on all our buildings, and frame our buildings strong to withstand the long Inland NW winters. In most cases, we can also build that project for less per square foot - with concrete! - than others because of our low overhead. About Us



John & Alaina Hathaway





J&M Construction Services is a family-owned and run building business owned by John and Alaina Hathaway.

John started building as a teenager and has an extensive background in all kinds of building - residential, commercial, industrial and rural. He has been a part of all phases of the process for more than 30 years.

Alaina graduated with an engineering degree from Iowa State University, and went straight into the Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer at Mountain Home AFB, ID. After serving, Alaina worked in management in the manufacturing sector until 2012 when they moved back to Idaho. Though she has helped John's business in various capacities through the years, she started working full-time with John in 2018

Pole Buildings



We are the go-to builder of quality pole-buildings and sheds in the four-county area. We give a great product for a great price, and can finish most buildings in a week, or less.



Concrete



We provide concrete services, and in addition to slabs, can pour your footings and stem-walls, driveways and sidewalks, colored and stamped spaces, and approaches.



Excavation



Have land that needs developing? We provide excavation and dirt work to make your wild terrain into something beautiful. We can also truck rock and build out your pad for your next building.



Septic Systems



In addition to being able to clear your land we can also put in the septic system for any of your plumbing needs.
