The customer wants an addition where the current bay window is, as well as a front porch. To add interest to the roofline, they also want a false dormer over the garage.

Owner had an ice dam problem, with water dripping into the house as it melted. We are putting on a roof extension and adding IceMelt under the shingles.
Step 1 was pulling the existing fascia off to access the bearing wall. Step 2 is drilling holes and putting posts in to support the roof extension.
Next step is putting up the rafters and sheeting the roof.
After adding IceMelt, the roof was shingled.
There should be no more problems with water leaking in!
